Motul celebrates the 30th anniversary of the Carrera Panamericana at Retromobile 2018
Motul’s name and iconic colors will once again feature strongly at the best and most anticipated classic car show of the year, Rétromobile, which takes place from 7-11th February at the Paris Expo at Porte de Versailles.
As a major partner to this increasingly important international trade fair and the leading supplier of lubricants to the classic car market, Motul’s Stand (Hall 1, F30) will be an undoubted ‘go-to’ venue, alongside the 550 exhibitors representing all things historic, beautiful and #automotive. There will be 500 cars on show, over 100 car clubs in attendance and an audience which is knowledgeable, passionate and ready to explore.
And what better place to start than at Motul’s exciting and innovative booth! In celebration of the 30th anniversary of the #carrerapanamericana, visitors to Stand F30 will be instantly transported to the world of that classic rally through the highways of the rocky, cactus-filled Mexican countryside, to the paved roads, colorful buildings and vintage shops of its towns. Dive into the #carrerapanamericana spirit, and share the experiences of 7-time winner Pierre de Thoisy who was supported throughout by #motul.
On special display will be the car revealed to be the prize winner of the 2018 Grand Prix Motul-Fondation du patrimoine for the best historic car restoration project. Since 2008, and thus celebrating the 10th anniversary of Motul’s partnership with the Fondation du patrimoine (Heritage Foundation), financial assistance aimed at safeguarding and enhancing #heritage motoring projects has been offered to an amazing 45 projects, with all vehicles being given a new life. Don’t miss the chance to see this year’s winner, it is guaranteed to be stunning.
Motul’s stand will also feature a dedicated area where car owners and enthusiasts can seek out advice from Motul’s experts on its historic vehicles range and buy products directly on site. Classics require lubricants with special formulations to suit engines and gearboxes from different eras, and Motul’s range is made up of 4 specific engine oils plus a complete variety of care and maintenance products. For those who prefer, these same products will also be available to order via a NEW dedicated website www.motulclassic.com, including home delivery! The official launch of the website will be at Rétromobile…just one more reason why all classic car enthusiasts should make their way to Paris Expo in early February.
