The principle actors in the Swiss #automotive industry will re-unite professionals and enthusiasts of the personalisation of vehicles in Hall 7. The SAA Expo, which will take place during a short period (from March 8-12), was seen for the first time last year, will be even more extensive and will occupy nearly half of the available surface of the Hall. Many new exhibitors will join the ones from previous years to provide a sumptuous selection to discover.
54 Swiss enterprises will be presenting, as every year, in Hall 7 at Palexpo. They represent the national #automotive industry as suppliers of accessories, tires, spare parts, and equipment for garages. This will be a not to be missed rendezvous for both professionals and enthusiasts of the personalisation of automobiles.
The members of the association of after-sales suppliers, “Swiss #automotive Aftermarket” (SAA), created last year a short term exhibition titled “SAA-Expo”, which will allow the Swiss PME’s (Small & Medium Enterprises) to participate for a shorter period and hence save on hotel and other personnel costs. This exhibition will take place from March 8-12, 2018. It will include 24 exhibitors, up from 15 last year. Following this the non-SAA members will take over this space. Amongst the new exhibitors are Cirano, specialists in new and used car warrantees; Hirschi, vehicle rescue/towing professionals, and BOSCH, who will return after several years’ absence. New this year: the “SAA Drift Challenge” will take place on the stand of the association and will reward every day the best pilot among the professionals of the branch. More information regarding the SAA exhibits and the Drift Challenge can be found at www.saa-expo.ch
The space in Hall 7 reserved for exhibitors who will be presenting during the entire duration of the Geneva International Motor Show, from March 8-18, will once again welcome ESA, who will welcome all its visitors to the simulated piazza of an Italian village, KSU/A.-Technik, Hosteller Autotechnik, and for the first time, Techauto-suppliers.
It is important to remember that the Swiss #automotive industry includes some 20,000 enterprises, 220,000 employees, and generates more than 90.7 billion Swiss Francs, or almost 15% of the Swiss GNP per year, while ensuring the proper functioning of the more than 4.5 million private vehicles in Switzerland (2016 figures).
The entry to Hall 7 is situated a few metres from the main train station at Geneva Airport. Just follow the covered passage and the signs to Palexpo.
