SEAT wins the Manufacturing Excellence Award 2017
The #seat factory in Martorell has won another distinction. The Manufacturing Excellence Award celebration, considered one of the gold standards for benchmarking performance across a range of manufacturing categories which each year rewards manufacturers for their innovative solutions, ranked the superior performance of the Martorell factory with the Manufacturing Excellence Award 2017 in the category of Logistics and Logistics Network Management. The jury recognised the plant’s high level of supplier management and internal logistics.
Aimed at identifying and driving best practices in industry, the MX-Awards benefit from the participation of an expert panel of judges. Since 2004, and following three decades of organisation in the United Kingdom, this prestigious initiative is led by the Technical University of Berlin and the Technical University of Aachen in Germany.
