Nissan reports August 2017 sales for Europe

ROLLE, Switzerland (Sept. 8, 2017) – Nissan today announced European sales for August of 44,982 vehicles (Nissan and Datsun), representing a market share of 3.7%. Unit sales rose 12% from a year earlier.
August highlights:
- Sales in Russia totaled 8,217 vehicles, representing a market share of 6.5%.
- Sales in the U.K. totaled 7,264 vehicles, representing a market share of 4.5%.
- Sales in Germany totaled 5,499 vehicles, representing a market share of 2.4%.
- Sales in Spain totaled 4,096 vehicles, representing a market share of 4.7%.
- Sales in France totaled 3,714 vehicles, representing a market share of 3.9%.
- Datsun sales in Russia totaled 2,167 vehicles in August.
- Nissan in Italy recorded sales of 3,222 vehicles in August, representing a market share of 3.5%.
