Maserati: the fourth edition of the Paris-Modena ride gets underway

The charitable cycling tour has begun: crossing France and the north of Italy,
it will reach the finish in Modena on 7 June 2017
Dubai, 3rd June 2017 - For the fourth consecutive year, #maserati is supporting the #parismodena charitable cycling tour, an #event for sportsmen and those who love a challenge.
The Tour started today from Disneyland Paris, where a dedicated space had been reserved to the #event, and will finish at the historic #maserati headquarters in Modena on 7 June. Apart from the personal challenge faced by all those taking part, every kilometre travelled by bicycle will raise funds for the "Rêves" charity.
Once again the #parismodena has attracted a large number of VIP participants, including former F1 drivers Paul Belmondo and Ukyo Katayama, Italian national cycling team coach Davide Cassani, former professional cyclists such as Miguel Indurain, Alessandro Ballan and Marco Velo. Also attending are José Miguel Antúnez, former Spanish national basketball captain, Italian alpine skiers Manuela and Manfred Moelgg, and Matteo Panini, owner of the Panini Museum, which houses one of the world's most important collections of historic #maserati cars.
The 30 cyclists on the #parismodena have made a donation of 15,000 Euro to the "Rêves" Charitable Association. The “Rêves” representatives were present at the departure along with some of the children who will benefit from the funds raised who had the chance to spend the whole day in Disneyland Paris.
The route, which will alternate cycle stages with sections travelled by car, will feature roads carefully chosen to give the participants the chance to enjoy the splendid views.
From Disneyland Paris, the cyclists will reach Reims, stopping for lunch at Château de Condé and for dinner at Les Crayères castle.
On Sunday 4 June, they will continue their journey, going for a very special visit to the Laurent Perrier winery. After that, they will reach Vatry airport where a private flight operated by GlobleAir will take them to Bolzano (Italy). From there they will head to San Vigilio di Marebbe, where they will spend the night.
On Monday 5 June, the tour's third stage will reach the Alps, where the cyclists will face the challenge of the Pordoi pass and then, after lunch, they will drive to Bellagio on Lake Como.
On Tuesday 6 June, the participants will ride from Lake Como to Milan, stopping for a private tour of the famous Monza F1 circuit and for a visit to the Pirelli foundation where they will have lunch. They will dine and spend the night at the Excelsior Hotel Gallia in Milan.
On Wednesday 7 June, the final stage will go from Milan to Brescello along the Po river and then on to Modena, to visit the Panini Museum, which houses one of the world's most important collections of #maserati historic cars. The tour will end at the #maserati headquarters, where the cyclists will have the opportunity of a private visit of the factory.
As they have done for the last 2 tours, Look will once again be providing bicycles for all the participants and have created a special edition for the #parismodena: a model 795 Aerolight.
In short, the #parismodena is a tour which allows participants the chance to experience the beautiful scenery of the French and Italian panoramic roads, travelled by bicycle and by car, while helping the seriously ill children assisted by the "Rêves" charity to see their dreams come true.
