Mahias Marches on to Donington Park

GRT #yamaha Official WorldSSP Teams Lucas Mahias arrives at Donington Park for round six of the 2016 FIM Supersport World Championship this weekend aiming to increase his 27point lead in the standings. His teammate Federico Caricasulo is looking to bounce back after his DNF at Imola and get his championship aspirations back on track.

Mahias recorded his fourth podium in five races at Imola after finishing in second to extend his championship lead. The French rider is looking forward to riding his R6 around the fast and flowing Donington track, a circuit he enjoys despite not finishing his only race there in 2015. The 28yearold championship leader is relishing the chance to get back on track and is focused on extending his lead even more at Donington.
