Drive into Spring with the Opel Cascada Supreme

The nicest way to drive topless: With the #cascadasupreme design-model

Rüsselsheim. Springtime is convertible time. The #opel Cascada can cruise in the sunshine and if there is an April shower, it can close the fabric roof in only 17 seconds.

The impressive convertible with space for four and their luggage is now available as the #cascadasupreme with subtle design accents from friendly #opel dealers. Every detail and every shade of color has been carefully matched with the other. The convertible for the style-conscious can be ordered in “Lava Red”, “Snow White” or “Onyx Black”. The black grille crossbeam, the black door mirrors and the 20-inch light-alloy wheels in bi-color design perfectly suit each paintwork. The door and cockpit trim materials are highlighted with red seams, which are matched by the decor strips and the heated three-spoke steering wheel covered in piano lacquer. Typically #opel are the ergonomic AGR seats with electro-pneumatic lumbar support and extendable thigh-support for maximum comfort behind the wheel. In the #cascadasupreme the seats are upholstered with high-quality leather – including the characteristic red seams.

The #opel Cascada is a convertible for everyday driving in all seasons, with a high-quality fabric roof including acoustic damping that keeps out the wind noise when closed. In contrast to many convertibles, Cascada passengers can comfortably chat or listen to Vivaldi’s “Four Seasons” even at higher speeds. The roof can be closed at the push of a button even while driving, up to a maximum speed of 50 km/h.

In addition, the Cascada driver benefits from a range of assistance systems: Front Collision Warning, Lane Keep Assist and Side Blind-Spot Alert increase safety; Traffic Sign Recognition, High Beam Assist and Park Assist with parking space detection make life easier. Driver and passengers also enjoy best connections with the #opel OnStar personal connectivity and service assistant, which offers a Wi-Fi hotspot as well as services such as hotel reservations1 and parking location2.

The gasoline engines range from the 1.4 Turbo with 88 kW/120 hp (fuel consumption in New European Driving Cycle: urban 8.7 l/100 km, extra-urban 5.5 l/100 km, combined 6.7 l/100 km, 154 g/km CO2) to the powerful 1.6 Direct Injection Turbo with 147 kW/200 hp (NEDC fuel consumption: urban 8.54 l/100 km, extra-urban 5.8 l/100 km, combined 6.8 l/100 km, 158 g/km CO2). The 1.6 Direct Injection Turbo is also available with a six- speed automatic transmission. The diesel alternative is the frugal 2.0 CDTI with 125 kW/170 hp (NEDC fuel consumption: urban 6.0 l/100 km, extra-urban 4.2 l/100 km, combined 4.9 l/100 km, 129 g/km CO2).

Prices for the #opel Cascada start at €26,900. The Supreme equipment pack is available with the Innovation model upwards for €2,500 Euro (MRP including VAT in Germany).
