Akrapovič gives the Honda CRF450R three of the best
Akrapovič has launched three new products for the 2017 #honda #crf450r which will mean that new #slipon Line, #evolution Line, and #racing Line exhaust systems are available for Honda’s flagship motocross bike.
This state-of-the-art range features a new shape for the two mufflers, which fit perfectly within the lines of the #crf450r. The new design has relief imprints on the titanium end-cap to increase the visual impact of the exhaust. It is perfectly finished with a durable coating giving better scratch resistance and easier cleaning, and the whole range also meets FIM noise limits, whilst at the same time achieving performance upgrades.
The first system in the range is the Akrapovič #slipon Line, which is designed for riders taking their first step in exhaust modification. Delivering increased performance, weight reduction, and outstanding durability, the #slipon Line is an easy- to-install system that provides a perfect balance between performance and affordability. Made from stainless steel, this system comes with a titanium muffler outer sleeve and titanium end-cap, and features a unique Akrapovič sound ideally suited to the bike’s character.
The #racing Line is a complete system that is identical in performance to the #evolution Line, but is constructed from stainless steel with a titanium muffler outer sleeve – for those riders looking for more affordable complete system. The headers are also made from high-grade stainless steel, whilst the perfect finish showing our legendary attention to detail is seen on the imprinted titanium end-cap. Giving improved performance, this full system offers a complete upgrade with a reduction in weight over stock.
The Akrapovič #evolution Line is the flagship exhaust system in the range. Used by race teams, the #evolution Line is constructed from ultra-lightweight titanium to significantly reduce weight and improve handling. This full system features titanium headers, which give a performance increase of 4 hp at 10,600 rpm and 2.5 Nm at 6,000 over the stock exhaust and a #racing sound. Just like the #racing Line and #slipon Line, it is simple to install, and the system has a durable coating for a longer life cycle.
Akrapovič’s new models are unique and designed to maximise the #honda CRF450R’s performance whilst reducing weight, increasing power, and improving handling. These systems will take the machine on to greater competitive levels and, whether it is ridden in a competition or around the local motocross track, the Akrapovič range of exhausts will offer a greater advantage no matter which one the rider chooses.
