Apollo Vredestein showcasing premiers and premium tyres in Geneva
2017

Apollo Vredestein is showcasing several of its recent products at the Geneva Motor Show. The tyre manufacturer’s stand makes for an impressive sight at this prestigious annual rendezvous for the automobile sector with a Jaguar F-Pace fitted with Ultra High Performance Vredestein Ultrac Vorti 22” tyres.
#apollovredestein is displaying an array of its two brands’ best products in Geneva. For the  Vredestein tyre brand, this includes the new Comtrac 2 All Season tyre. Production is currently running full steam to satisfy the very high demand for this tyre for the light truck segment. The Comtrac 2 All Season has an 11.70-metre shorter braking distance on wet roads at 80 km/h compared to its already impressive predecessor, offers ten percent more stability when driving with heavy loads and a five percent improvement in rolling resistance.
Another development being highlighted in Geneva is the significant number of new sizes for the latest products, such as the Vredestein Ultrac Satin – introduced at last year’s Geneva show -  which has 35 new sizes, including SUV sizes. Also on display, is the Vredestein Quatrac 5, the company’s leading all-season passenger car tyre, which also had an impressive 25 new size releases over the past six months.

For the Apollo tyre brand, the Geneva show sees the European debut of two products: the Amazer 4G Eco and Apterra HT2. The Amazer 4G Eco shows improved handling capabilities and puts safety first by its braking performance on wet roads. Internal tests show a 25% better rolling resistance in comparison with its predecessor. Features of the Apterra HT2 include exceptional safety on wet roads (B-label for wet grip), better shock absorption and reduced noise leading to higher comfort levels.  Both tyre models were released for order in selected sizes on 1 March with the full range available in the European market by April.
