Mississauga, Ont. – Nissan today announced the addition of a new Midnight Edition Package to its 2017 Pathfinder sport utility vehicle. The collection of aggressive new appearance features is offered only on the sporty Pathfinder Platinum model and available in four colour combinations – Gun Metallic; Magnetic Black; Caspian Blue and Pearl White – with Charcoal leather-appointed interior. It is priced identical to the Pathfinder Platinum model at $48,478 CAD.

"The Nissan Pathfinder has a storied heritage as one of the modern pioneers in the SUV segment, with more than 30 years in Canada, yet we are always looking forward – staying true to the Pathfinder name," says Tomoyuki Matsumoto, Senior Chief Marketing Manager at Nissan Canada Inc.

Pathfinder Midnight Edition includes:

  • Exclusive 20-inch aluminum-alloy wheels
  • Back mirror caps
  • Black spoiler
  • Canada-exclusive badges on the fenders and tailgate
  • Illuminated kick plates
  • LED interior accent lighting
  • Chrome rear bumper protector

"Four-wheel drive; off-road proficiency; towing capability and an athletic appearance. Throughout 30 years, these are the mainstays of the Pathfinder nameplate and remain key requirements for the adventure-inspired customer in this segment today. This special edition combines a more aggressive look, taking the popular Platinum grade level to an even higher level with stylish appointments to make it a Canadian enthusiasts' favourite," concludes Matsumoto.

The Pathfinder Platinum Midnight Edition will receive extensive online marketing support beginning February 16th and can be found at Nissan.ca. In addition, a special Midnight Edition configurator will be available, allowing consumers to visualize this model in each of the four colors.
