Akrapovič reveals Its newest Innovations and much more as EICMA opens Its doors

Akrapovič has taken the wraps off its stand at this week’s 74th #eicma show in Milan, Italy and has unveiled its latest collection of state-of-the-art high-performance exhausts plus a whole range of other exciting displays to entertain, inform, and thrill visitors. Akrapovič has been celebrating its 25th anniversary – using the hashtag 25YearsAkrapovic to fully support all proceedings – and the #eicma 2016 event is the finale of the year-long celebrations to mark this momentous occasion. At the stand are some of the most significant items that the Slovenian exhaust specialist has produced to mark this important milestone. Akrapovič developed a limited-edition run of just 25 exhausts and has donated some of these to very worthy charities to raise much-needed funds, and so the remaining ones on display are certainly rare and have already proved to be an extremely popular feature. Alongside presentations showcasing the key achievements and milestones in Akrapovič’s history are the very latest innovations that firmly establish the company as a premium world-renowned manufacturer of advanced exhaust system technology and underline the principle that “The Future Is Ultra-Light”. With the use of high-grade, lightweight materials, many new products were unveiled, with new exhaust systems for the Yamaha MT-09, Kawasaki Z900, BMW S 1000 RR, Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade, BMW R 1200 GS, Kawasaki Ninja 650, and BMW G 310 R all getting their debuts at #eicma. These were backed up by the latest products for the off-road market, which featured the new generation of cutting-edge exhausts for the Yamaha YZ250F and Honda CRF450R. To further enhance the overall range, the newest scooter systems have been launched, including the Yamaha TMAX with its new muffler shape, with embossed imprints that go through the muffler and blend with the endcap, which is a system developed from the concept shown at #eicma 2015. Alongside this are other exhausts for scooters, including the BMW C 650 Sport, Vespa GTS 300, and Aprilia SRV 850. With most of these new systems Euro 4–compliant, this further emphasises the company’s position at the forefront of exhaust system technology. With racing being part of the Akrapovič DNA, the stand also features a stunning range of racing motorcycles equipped with Akrapovič exhaust systems and all TrustedByChampions. These unique machines include the MotoGP™ bikes of Valentino Rossi (Movistar Yamaha MotoGP), Andrea Dovizioso (Ducati Team), and Maverick Viñales (Team SUZUKI ECSTAR), alongside Jonathan Rea’s 2016 WorldSBK-winning Kawasaki and world champion Brad Binder’s Moto3™ KTM bike, plus the KTM bike ridden by 2016 Dakar winner Toby Price from the off-road world – and they have already drawn the crowds because visitors want to catch a glimpse of these stunning motorcycles. All of these winning machines emphasize the racing heritage of Akrapovič and the strong vein of competition that still runs through the company, a theme that will continue as the show progresses with visits from many riders from various disciplines stopping by at the stand. Another highlight that triggered a lot of interest is the hands-on displays – or, in the case of the Akrapovič Sound Chair, an ears-on experience. This unique seated demonstration gives visitors the chance to hear the difference for themselves between an Akrapovič exhaust tone and a stock sound. Along with this is the Weight Difference Box, where show guests can do exactly what it says and feel the difference in the weight of an Akrapovič exhaust against a standard one. In conjunction with the #eicma show, Akrapovič is taking its innovations one step further by hosting a special exhibition in Milan, showing the heritage and key historical achievements of the company through its 25 years. This will open on 9th November and continues until 13th November at Deus Ex Machina, Via Thaon di Revel 3, 20159 Milan, Italy. So if you are visiting #eicma, Akrapovič would also like to extend a warm invitation to you to come and see this exhibition. This is the first time that the company has allied the exhibition at the #eicma fair with a separate presentation held in the centre of Milan, which is sure to be an attractive and innovative way to celebrate the company’s anniversary. EICMA 2016 runs from 10th to 13th November and visitors will have the opportunity to see the latest products showcased by Akrapovič. Visit us at Booth O30 in Hall 2 at Fiera #milano, SS. 33 del Sempione 28, 20017 Rho, Milan, Italy, where Akrapovič is proving that it is right at the top of its game and thoroughly deserving of its position as the world’s leading manufacturer of high-performance exhaust systems through its constant and unswerving desire to find more power, supply better power delivery, and produce a fantastic sound and breath-taking looks through all of its products.
