The New MEGANE Estate: prices and line-up in France

Line-up and prices in France
Following its unveiling at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show, the new MEGANE Estate is poised to arrive in French showrooms this summer. Order books for the model will open beginning of June 2016. 
Prices for the new MEGANE Estate in France start at €19,900 for the version powered by the Energy TCe 100 engine mated to a manual gearbox. Four equipment levels will be available, namely Life, Zen, Business and Intens. The new MEGANE Estate GT will cost from €32,800 (Energy TCe 205 engine with EDC dual clutch automatic transmission). GT-Line packs are also available for the new MEGANE Estate to provide owners with a distinctive sportier look.

Spacious, modular interior
The volume of the new MEGANE Estate’s boot is 580 litres. The modular luggage compartment is particularly user-friendly thanks to features like the flat floor, bag hooks, additional stowage spaces and an automatically-folding rear bench seat which can be activated from the boot. Meanwhile, the back of the front passenger seat tips forward to permit items of up to 2.7 metres in length to be carried, a record for the segment.
A more comfortable seating position, with knee room increased to 216mm (another segment record) ensures an even more enjoyable travelling experience for the MEGANE Estate’s rear occupants.

Engines and transmissions
Driving pleasure was engineered into the new MEGANE Estate’s design from the outset. Available for this level of range for the very first time, the car’s 4Control system delivers peerless agility.

The new MEGANE Estate’s engine range features:
- Petrol engines:
The Energy TCe 100 (with six-speed manual gearbox)
The Energy TCe 130 (six-speed manual)
The Energy TCe 130 (seven-speed EDC dual clutch automatic transmission)
- Diesel engines:
The Energy dCi 90 (with six-speed manual gearbox)
The Energy dCi 110 (six-speed manual)
The Energy dCi 110 (six-speed EDC dual clutch automatic transmission)
The Energy dCi 130 (six-speed manual)

The new MEGANE Estate GT will initially be powered by the Energy TCe 205 mated to seven-speed EDC dual clutch automatic transmission. The Energy dCi 165 EDC engine driving through six-speed EDC dual clutch automatic transmission will follow shortly after the model’s launch.
